Terms of Service

StudioLink is a booking-request marketplace connecting users with independent recording studios in Los Angeles, CA. By using StudioLink, you agree to these Terms.

You must be 18 years of age or older to submit a booking request or use this platform.

StudioLink facilitates introductions between you and independently operated recording studios. We are not a party to the agreement between you and any studio. We do not own, operate, or control any studio on the platform. Studios set their own rates, deposits, cancellation terms, in-session policies, equipment access, and all other conditions of service. StudioLink is not responsible for any act or omission by a studio, including cancellations, quality of service, conduct on the premises, or disputes over payment.

A non-refundable 3.99% platform fee applies to each booking request submitted. The fee covers routing your request to the studio, delivering your confirmation SMS, and operating the platform. The fee is charged at submission and is not contingent on the studio confirming or completing the session.

You may cancel a booking request free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations made within 48 hours forfeit any deposit held by the studio. The 3.99% platform fee is non-refundable in all cases. Studios may communicate additional terms and are responsible for enforcing their own policies.

By submitting a request, you agree that StudioLink and the studio may contact you by SMS and email about your booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. See Privacy for full TCPA consent details.

StudioLink is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that any studio listing is accurate, available, or complete, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, StudioLink's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total platform fees you paid to StudioLink in the six months preceding the claim. StudioLink is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any conduct of a studio.

You agree to indemnify and hold StudioLink harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a studio.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute between you and StudioLink not resolved informally within 30 days of written notice will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Los Angeles County under the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You and StudioLink each waive any right to participate in a class or representative action. Either party may pursue a claim in small claims court. This section does not bind studios, which are independent and may have their own terms with you.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
